WHAT YOU’LL DO: This role is responsible for leading the strategic roadmap and architectural design of the marketing technology ecosystem, defining and driving the strategy, integrations, and implementation of platforms that enable innovative, data-driven, and connected digital solutions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Defines and executes the Martech vision and technical strategy, designing a scalable architecture and multi-year roadmap that enables seamless data flow, platform interoperability, and high-impact digital marketing capabilities. Represents the marketing technology stack and member in our data governance process, ensuring that a member-centric approach is at the center of our strategy. • Facilitates user stories and epics for the IT product delivery teams, guiding integration and optimization of Martech platforms in ways that support scalable architecture and seamless member experiences across all digital touchpoints. Drives enterprise-wide alignment, collaborating with leadership across Product, marketing, Engineering, and Analytics to accelerate our digital marketing transformation. • Partners with marketing, membership, and digital experience leaders to ensure seamless connections across eCommerce, digital experience, and acquisition. • Influences business strategy, leveraging data and insights to optimize marketing efficiency, reduce acquisition costs, and drive customer lifetime value. • Develops and leads product and platform strategy for marketing and advertising technology, ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide digital transformation efforts and underlying technical architecture. • Creates and manages a high-impact product and platform roadmap, prioritizing scalable innovations that enhance member experience, enable real-time marketing capabilities, and drive business performance. Scale and optimize marketing efforts by enabling the effective use and integration of best-in-class platforms for campaign management, personalization, customer data, digital asset management, and performance measurement. • Uses data-driven insights to define KPIs, track platform and marketing performance, and continuously refine product and architecture strategies to support evolving business goals. Champion innovation by identifying emerging technologies and disruptive trends in Martech and AdTech, and advising on architectural evolution to keep our ecosystem modern, scalable, and competitive. • Leads cross-functional partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration between IT, Marketing, Product, Operations, and external vendors to align technical implementation, data flow, and platform integration across the Martech ecosystem. • Fosters strong relationships with external partners and technology providers to expand marketing capabilities and maximize return on investment. • Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals. • Incorporates AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • This job does not have supervisory responsibility. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience • 8+ years’ experience in technology, specifically within an Adobe or Salesforce ecosystem with customer facing responsibilities • 6+ years’ experience in management role with at least 3+ years’ in senior-level management PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Masters’ degree in marketing or business or related field CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: • None KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: • Expertise within marketing technology platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce CRM, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, with a focus on integration within those platforms to product unified customer profiles and personalized experiences across a connected ecosystem. • Demonstrated knowledge of Customer Data Platform concepts and benefits. • Demonstrated knowledge of journey orchestration best practices and tactics. • Demonstrated understanding of mar-tech platform features that enhance lead nurturing, qualification, and optimization. • Demonstrated experience developing and optimizing first party data derived lead lifecycles from engagement to acquisition. • Passion for driving change and proactively solving complex problems that impact management and direction of the business. • Broad and comprehensive expertise in and understanding leading-edge theories, techniques, and/or technologies within product, technology and marketing functions. • Experience design using the mar-tech stack across multiple business units or teams. • Strong understanding of the Scaled Agile Framework and how to collaborate with product team and leadership to produce results. • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and facilitate activities with diverse audiences. • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous delivery of features and capabilities that align with strategic plans and business goals. • Ability to innovate and drive changes while pushing for continuous improvement. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time.
