About HYPE10: HYPE10 is a creative-first growth marketing agency that partners with forward-thinking brands to scale through performance media, storytelling, and digital experimentation. We build and execute campaigns that break category molds and drive measurable results. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional Paid Media services to our clients across a range of industries. We partner with exciting brands such as Dagne Dover, Modern Citizen, Dose Daily, and many others. We’re hiring a Director of Paid Media to lead strategy and execution across our media accounts while helping shape the future of the department. This is a hybrid leadership and execution role: part strategist, part team lead, part builder. We’re looking for a hands-on-keyboard leader who’s just as comfortable in platform-building campaigns as they are presenting to clients or pitching new business. You’ll guide our media practice across paid social, search, and emerging channels while working closely with HYPE10’s partners and senior clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a player-coach environment, leading by doing and never fully stepping away from the work. Responsibilities: • Own cross-channel paid media strategy for HYPE10’s key accounts, with deep focus on eCommerce, DTC, and brand-first performance. • Lead a team of media managers and strategists across Meta, Google, TikTok, Pinterest, and more. • Stay hands-on in the platform (Meta, Google, TikTok) for select high-priority clients, particularly during launch, scale, or testing phases. • Set and enforce campaign frameworks, testing roadmaps, media mix models, and performance standards. • Act as a senior strategic partner for clients: leading QBRs, board meetings, and executive discussions. • Support new business efforts, including pitch strategy, media forecasting, and in-room storytelling. • Partner closely with our performance creative department to deliver cohesive cross-functional plans. • Identify and vet new channels, partners, and tools to keep HYPE10 on the leading edge of media innovation. • Lead hiring, training, and upskilling efforts within the media team to ensure growth and team health. Requirements: • Have 5–7+ years in paid media, including agency experience, with team leadership and strategic ownership. • Are an expert in Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok, with a strong grasp of performance marketing, growth loops, and creative iteration. • Are still excited to roll up your sleeves, especially for high-impact accounts or launches, no ego, just execution. • Bring a strong POV to client strategy, channel mix, and performance insights, and can confidently communicate this at the executive level. • Have experience in new business pitching, including media planning, decks, and in-room presence. • Balance brand-building instincts with performance-driven decision-making. • Are comfortable with ambiguity and love building systems, processes, and teams from a place of ownership.
