Who You Are
As the Director of Partnerships, you will report directly to the CEO. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals. You will identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key partners to drive business growth, expand market reach, and enhance product offerings.

What You’ll Do
• Identify potential partnership opportunities that align with the organization’s goals and develop the partnership roadmap
• Lead negotiations and manage the partnership contract process
• Maintain strong relationships with partners and build long-term partnerships
• Possess experience with scale and how to acquire new partnerships
• Use data to validate insights. Understand the market, conduct thorough research, and have strong opinions about partnership strategies for the organization
• Set concrete goals and KPIs for the partnerships team and iterate to make improvements
What You’ll Bring
• 5+ years of experience in a senior partnership or business development role, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS company and in a high-growth startup environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Shopify ecosystem
• Strategic, creative, and possess strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling partnership programs that have significantly contributed to revenue growth and market expansion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• The ability to work individually (and remotely) and collaborate within a team environment to achieve goals
• Adaptability to change and comfort with ambiguity at an early-stage startup
