Position Overview The Director of Product Management is responsible for overseeing all activities relating to research, designing and marketing products on behalf of the company by working with all departments to identify potential product defects, product suggestions, customer needs, and direct competitors. Essential Job Duties • Develop, maintain, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and buying patterns. • Help oversee the design, manufacturing, and planning of the promotion of products to customers. • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales in development of go-to-market strategies including pricing and communication plans. • Cross-functional management with all business units to ensure successful product development and launch. • Assess the overall competitive landscape. • Provide analyses and reports in response to questions from leadership. • Specify and oversee the research needed to determine the needs/desires of customers. • Review and adjust inventory levels and product production schedules to maintain product availability. • Define product features, specs, and requirements based on research and customer feedback. • Track product performance, analyze and optimize results to drive innovation and product improvement. • Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple departments. Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business, advertising/marketing, communications or related field. • 5+ years product development experience. • Experience in international manufacturing.
