The Encompass Group has partnered with an entrepreneurial and growth-focused company looking to add a Director of Sales to the leadership team and work directly with the CEO.
We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial Director of Sales to lead and build the sales function for a fast-growing agency at the forefront of creator-led marketing.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in consultative sales, understands the ecommerce and DTC brand landscape, and is ready to scale a proven service offering.
What You’ll Do:
• Own the full sales cycle—from discovery to close
• Build relationships with ecommerce brand leaders and marketers
• Develop and refine the sales process alongside the founder
• Eventually build and lead a small sales team
• Align closely with marketing and client success to drive revenue growth
What We’re Looking For:
• 4+ years in B2B sales (agency, ecommerce SaaS, or DTC preferred)
• Proven experience selling to ecommerce/consumer brands
• Comfortable selling strategic, high-ticket services ($10K–$30K+ retainers)
• Strong communicator with a builder’s mindset
• Curious, authentic, and self-directed
Comp & Details:
• Competitive base + commission (OTE $200K–$300K)
• Remote-first team
• Strong growth trajectory with equity potential for the right hire
