Job Description Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is a rapidly growing team focused on providing innovative payment solutions to businesses and governments worldwide. We collaborate with Financial Institutions and Fintechs to deliver frictionless experiences that streamline critical business processes such as expense management, compliance, and vendor payments. Our goal is to enhance cash flow, productivity, and efficiency for our clients. We are seeking a seasoned leader with deep experience in e-commerce—preferably within B2B platforms—to lead our E-Commerce Platform Solutions strategy. In this role, you will define and execute Visa’s approach to embedded payments for e-commerce platforms, addressing B2B transaction needs. You will collaborate across Visa’s product, sales, and partner ecosystem to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions that solve real-world pain points for platform operators and their business customers. Key Responsibilities • E-Commerce Platform Strategy: Identify and engage with leading B2B e-commerce platforms to understand their payment challenges. Design Visa-integrated solutions that embed payments and data controls into platform workflows. • Client and Market Analysis: Assess the unique needs of platform operators, their business users, and regional markets. Translate insights into tailored solutions that drive adoption and value. • Go-To-Market Execution: Develop and implement GTM strategies that resonate with platform partners and Visa’s regional sales teams. Drive awareness and adoption through targeted campaigns and strategic partnerships. • Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with Visa’s Product teams to shape and refine offerings. Influence product roadmaps with platform-specific feedback and market trends. • Sales Enablement and Deal Support: Partner with sales teams to support high-impact platform deals. Launch pilot programs, build case studies, and provide strategic guidance to accelerate revenue growth. • Ecosystem Activation: Build and nurture relationships with issuers, acquirers, processors, and technology platforms to enable seamless integration and scale. • Industry Engagement: Represent Visa in industry forums and with strategic partners to expand our influence and thought leadership in B2B e-commerce payments. • Center of Excellence Leadership: Establish a Center of Excellence focused on B2B e-commerce payments. Lead market research, competitive benchmarking, and strategic planning to guide solution development. • This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD • Proven experience in product, sales, or GTM roles within e-commerce, with a strong preference for B2B platform experience. • Deep understanding of e-commerce payment flows, platform monetization models, and embedded finance. • Familiarity with major B2B e-commerce platforms and their technology ecosystems. • Experience launching pilot programs and initial offerings with platform partners. • Strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams across technical and business domains. • Analytical mindset with a consultative approach to problem-solving. • Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills. • Comfortable working independently and within matrixed environments. • Extensive background in product strategy and development in payments or financial services. • Demonstrated success in executing GTM strategies for platform-based solutions. • Sales leadership experience in complex, multi-stakeholder deals. • Knowledge of Visa’s products and ecosystem is a plus. • MBA or advanced degree in a related field. Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 151,600.00 to 219,950.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
