We’re hiring an E-Commerce and Web-Shop Manager in Abingdon, Oxfordshire to join our Brand, Media and Communications team. In your new role
Reporting to the Head of Brand, Media and Communications you will implement and lead the strategy on Miele's webshop across the UK market. Focused on brand building and our CX / UX approach, you will couple this with a focus on sales and conversion all coming together to provide best-in-class premium customer experiences through our Miele Webshop. In addition to this you will own and execute our local SEO strategy, optimising meta tags and content to meet local market demands and preferences.
Your significant commercial acumen and technical e-commerce expertise allows you to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders up to SLT and lead on cross-functional projects relating to your expertise across a UK setting.
Job responsibilities:
• Strategic Ownership: Take full accountability for our own webshop—driving performance, brand equity, and customer satisfaction. Maximise opportunity for conversion, brand awareness and sales.
• CX/UX Leadership: Embed best-in-class design and experience principles to deliver intuitive, elegant, and frictionless customer experiences.
• Conversion & Content Optimisation: Champion a culture of continuous improvement through A/B testing, dynamic content, and SEO excellence.
• Technical Partnership & Innovation: Collaborate across central digital and IT teams to ensure seamless platform performance, analytics, and security.
• Insights-Driven Growth: Harness web analytics to uncover trends, translate behaviour into opportunity, influence future strategies and communicate these clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders up to SLT level.
• Optimise Commerciality: Utilise your technical expertise and analytical capabilities to identify commercial opportunities and optimisation.
• Champion an Omnichannel Customer Experience: Work with experts and stakeholders, internally and externally, to maximise an Omnichannel opportunities to drive premium customer experiences
Skills and Competencies:
• Customer centric with a demonstrable commercial mindset highlighting experience in maximising opportunities and championing propositions to senior stakeholders.
• Educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline (Marketing, Digital Marketing) or with equivalent expertise in digital marketing
• Significant experience in e-commerce with a track record of driving conversion, sales and brand recognition.
• Broad and up-to-date expert knowledge across digital marketing
• Demonstratable application of strong business accumen and commercial awareness in a strategic context.
• Ability to manage and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders up to SLT both internally and externally.
• Strong communication skills (fluent in English)
• Willingness to travel
