About Us
We are a leading German manufacturer of premium tools with a strong foothold in the global market. As part of our strategic international expansion, we are launching and scaling our e-commerce operations in the United States/Canada. Initially focusing on indirect online sales via trusted retail partners and marketplaces, including Amazon, we are laying the groundwork for long-term digital growth in this key market.
To support this initiative, we are creating a pivotal new role to serve as the bridge between our digital expertise in Germany and the evolving needs of our US/CAN market.
Your Role: Key Connector & Growth Driver
As the E-Commerce & Digital Manager, you will be the vital link between our global digital team and local US operations. You’ll set-up and lead cross-functional efforts to grow and optimize our e-commerce presence, building and aligning a local strategy with execution while balancing digital innovation with logistical realities.
Your Responsibilities
• Launch and manage the US/CAN e-commerce business from zero, including strategy, setup, execution, and iteration
• Serve as the primary liaison between our HQ digital team and the US/CAN market—including internal teams, retail partners, and e-commerce platforms
• Drive the development and coordination of indirect e-commerce sales channels with US/CAN-based online retailers, distributors, and marketplaces
• Oversee technical requirements and content adaptation for US/CAN platforms (product data, logistics, compliance, platform compatibility)
• Lead all digital integration efforts including platform onboarding, automation of product and inventory data, and backend system interfaces (Shopystem, CRM, ERP, etc.)
• Address technical and logistical needs of local partners, including product content, data formatting, shipping requirements, and platform integration
• Work closely with our central Product Information Management (PIM) team to tailor and localize product data for the US/CAN market
• Help establish and maintain a compliant and performance-optimized Amazon seller presence
• Provide support on shipping, packaging, customs documentation, and related operational topics for US-based retailers
• Contribute to digital integration efforts such as platform onboarding, automation of data flows, and backend system connectivity
• Monitor key digital performance indicators and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous growth
Your Profile
• Degree in Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, or a related field
• Initial experience in e-commerce or digital business; international or B2B exposure is a plus
• Experience in developing a greenfield online e-commerce strategy working with retailers and HQ
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders across two countries and regions within
• Solid understanding of digital processes, e-commerce platforms, and product data systems (PIM)
• Capable of translating strategic goals into operational outcomes with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German, French or Spanish language skills are an advantage
• Self-starter who is comfortable navigating between strategic planning and day-to-day execution
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape our US/CAN digital footprint from the ground up—bringing together international collaboration, market expansion, and digital innovation.
