eCommerce Lead San Ramon, CA About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Senior eCommerce Technical Architect with deep expertise in modern commerce platforms and composable architecture. You’ll own the technical roadmap and lead the design and implementation of scalable, cloud-native eCommerce solutions that power world-class digital experiences. Key Responsibilities: Lead architecture for full eCommerce lifecycle: Catalog, Search, Pricing, Cart, Checkout, Payments, Order & Post-order flows. Drive monolithic to composable commerce transformation using event-driven architecture. Integrate with 3rd party systems: PIM, OMS, Payment Gateways, Fraud Detection, Shipping APIs. Guide frontend architecture using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and modern tooling. Leverage AWS, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and message brokers (Kafka, SQS, etc.). Set coding standards, conduct reviews, and support high-velocity agile teams. Requirements: 12+ years in eCommerce tech leadership roles. Experience with Shopify or composable commerce platforms. Strong knowledge of cloud (AWS), Node.js, CI/CD, and microservices. Solid frontend engineering background (React, JavaScript ES6+, GraphQL).
