We’re scaling aggressively through Shopify, TikTok Shop, and other ecommerce platforms β€” and we’re looking for an Ecommerce Manager to help us reach the next level. Role Overview The Ecommerce Manager will oversee and optimize all aspects of Kraken Athletics’ online sales channels. This role is responsible for managing our Shopify store, TikTok Shop integrations, product launches, merchandising, conversion optimization, and customer journey. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative β€” able to manage backend systems while also shaping customer-facing experiences that drive revenue and retention. Key Responsibilities Platform Management: Oversee daily operations of the Shopify storefront and TikTok Shop, ensuring products, collections, and inventory are accurate and up to date. Product Launches: Manage monthly product drops, coordinating with design and manufacturing to ensure on-time launches with compelling merchandising and storytelling. Conversion Optimization: Continuously improve website UX/UI, product detail pages, checkout flow, and upsell opportunities to maximize conversion rates and average order value. Marketing Support: Partner with marketing to align ecommerce strategies with campaigns, email flows (Klaviyo), TikTok affiliate promotions, and content drops. Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs including sales performance, traffic, conversion rate, AOV, customer retention, and provide insights to leadership. Customer Journey: Ensure a smooth, branded experience across order confirmation, fulfillment, and post-purchase communications. Vendor & Tech Management: Oversee ecommerce apps, plugins, and integrations (Shopify apps, payment gateways, shipping platforms, inventory tools). Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with product development, design, UGC creators, and marketing teams to execute launches and ensure consistency in brand vision. Qualifications 3+ years experience in ecommerce management (Shopify experience required; TikTok Shop a strong plus). Proven track record of driving growth in ecommerce businesses, preferably in apparel, fitness, or consumer goods. Strong analytical skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and Klaviyo reporting. Understanding of digital marketing channels (email, social, affiliate, influencer). Experience with conversion optimization, A/B testing, and CRO tools. Strong project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines. Creative mindset with ability to contribute to brand storytelling and merchandising. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and improve customer engagement. Utilize SEO tools to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic through effective keyword research and optimization. Manage conversion optimization efforts, ensuring that the user experience is seamless from entry to checkout. Oversee social media marketing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to promote products and engage with customers. Create compelling content for product descriptions, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, and social media posts that align with brand messaging. Analyze website performance using Google Analytics to identify trends, measure success, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement. Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing assets using Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Photoshop. Manage paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook Advertising, optimizing for maximum ROI through performance marketing techniques. Maintain the e-commerce platform using WordPress, ensuring that all content is up-to-date and accurately reflects product offerings. Implement marketing automation tools to streamline email marketing efforts and nurture leads effectively. Requirements Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing roles, with a strong understanding of online sales strategies. Proficiency in SEO practices, including keyword research and on-page optimization techniques. Familiarity with SEM principles and experience managing Google AdWords campaigns. Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics to track performance metrics and derive actionable insights. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and content management systems for effective website management. Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content that drives conversions. Experience in social media management and B2B marketing strategies is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. A creative mindset with strong graphic design skills is a plus.
