About Fescue & Dunes
Fescue & Dunes is a Maryland-based e-commerce marketplace that licenses and sells premium golf apparel and accessories for iconic destination courses in Ireland, the U.K., and beyond. Built on Shopify, we power turnkey online pro-shops for each partner club and curate a multilocation catalog for traveling golfers worldwide.
Role Snapshot
• Title: E-Commerce Manager
• Reports to: Executive Leadership
• Location: Hybrid / Remote (U.S. East Coast hours preferred)
• Status: Full-time, exempt
The E-Commerce Manager owns day-to-day webshop operations, merchandising, and growth support functions that drive revenue per club, launch new partner stores, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite & Platform Management
• Administer Shopify Plus storefronts (main marketplace + individual club stores).
• Manage apps/integrations for inventory sync, fulfillment, payments, and tax.
• Lead QA for all product launches, theme updates, and UX enhancements.
• Maintain site speed, SEO hygiene, accessibility, and compliance.
Merchandising & Catalog
• Build and optimize multi-variant SKUs (sizes, colors, embroidery options).
• Coordinate seasonal assortments with club pros and vendor reps.
• Own product photography briefs and digital asset management.
• Set retail pricing and promotional calendars aligned with margin targets.
Operations & Fulfillment
• Oversee 3PL relationships, order routing rules, and SLA performance.
• Drive accuracy in inventory, replenishment forecasts, and demand planning.
• Resolve escalated customer service tickets in Zendesk/Shopify Inbox.
Club Onboarding & Support
• Project-manage setup of each new club: agreements, SKU mapping, brand guidelines, photography, launch timelines.
• Communicate with club pro-shop staff on an ongoing basis about progress as well as new product offerings.
Analytics & Reporting
• Build weekly dashboards and ad-hoc analyses on sales, merchandising, and marketing ROI.
• Track funnel KPIs (CVR, AOV, LTV) and generate actionable insights for growth campaigns.
• Support execution of lifecycle marketing, affiliate tracking, and advertising performance by coordinating with internal and external marketing partners.
Qualifications
• 4+ years managing a high-growth DTC or marketplace storefront (Shopify experience required; Shopify Plus preferred).
• Demonstrated success owning P&L or revenue KPIs.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Analytics 4, Klaviyo (or similar ESP), and paid media platforms.
• Strong grasp of merchandising best practices, inventory planning, and vendor management.
• Comfort with basic HTML/CSS and no-code Shopify theme editing; Liquid or JavaScript a plus.
• Analytical mindset; able to turn data into actionable tests and roadmaps.
• Excellent cross-functional communication—vendors, designers, developers, and golf club stakeholders.
• Passion for golf, travel retail, or premium apparel markets is highly desirable.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience launching multicurrency or cross-border Shopify stores.
• Familiarity with print-on-demand or embroidery fulfillment models.
• Prior work in a seed/Series-A startup environment.
