Role description
Description We are seeking a highly proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Optimization Manager to lead content optimization and advertising strategy across our digital retail and marketplace channels. This role is pivotal in maximizing product visibility and complianceβ€”while managing remote teams and streamlining operational workflows through the strategic use of tools and automation. Key Responsibilities 1. Content Optimization β€’ Review and interpret listing guidelines for each platform. β€’ Develop structured content workflows to ensure scalability and compliance. β€’ Coordinate with the Content Team Lead to execute ongoing content audits. β€’ Identify and report content gaps, oversee revisions, and monitor improvements. β€’ Maintain an accurate list of active SKUs and content status across all channels. 1. Advertising & Promotions β€’ Submit promotions/deals to many retail channels. β€’ Launch, monitor, and optimize PPC/sponsored ad campaigns on key platforms. β€’ Lead an off-site Ad Team, ensuring performance targets and ROAS goals are met. β€’ Coordinate campaign adjustments in real-time. 1. Operational Streamlining & Tool Integration β€’ Identify and evaluate third-party eCommerce solutions and partners. β€’ Implement tools to automate reporting, auditing, campaign scaling, and team collaboration. β€’ Create clear SOPs to enable consistent execution across teams and platforms. β€’ Support onboarding needs for new channel launches, including ad and pricing strategy, and content readiness. 1. Marketplace & Global Strategy Support β€’ Contribute to the development of channel-specific growth strategies. β€’ Oversee global inventory flow for Amazon FBA for international marketplaces. β€’ Ensure cohesive rollout of campaigns, promos, and content updates across regional teams. Qualifications β€’ Proven experience in eCommerce operations, content marketing, or marketplace advertising. β€’ Strong grasp of platform-specific guidelines (Amazon, Walmart, Target Plus, etc.). β€’ Hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns and submitting promotions. β€’ Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. β€’ Ability to manage remote teams and collaborate cross-functionally. β€’ Familiarity with tools that improve sales channel efficiency.
