E-Commerce Product Coordinator
Are you passionate about entertainment and publishing? Do you have e-commerce or retail experience?
Job Summary:
A great opportunity if you’re looking to kick off a career in retail and e-commerce with an internationally recognised online retailer, selling over 2 million products across entertainment and home.
As E-Commerce Product Coordinator, you’ll work directly with the Website Manager and our external supplier partners at major labels and publishers to create an exciting product offer on our website to encourage sales and conversion.
You’ll meet regularly with leaders in the music, film, and books retail industries and our marketing team to showcase new releases and promotions at the optimal times and prices.
You’ll also get involved in email and social marketing, learning how to build effective campaigns and work with multiple product departments to give our customers the best overall experience.
You’ll Be:
• Passionate about Music, Books, or Games.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and confident in decision-making.
• A creative problem solver, with the confidence to express new ideas.
Essential Skills
• Comfortable using Excel with a focus on data accuracy.
• Interest and awareness of entertainment and publishing trends.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred, but not Essential
• Previous retail or e-commerce experience, especially in publishing.
• Familiarity with content management systems and image editing software.
• Knowledge of ONIX or THEMA metadata schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with supplier partners to showcase releases and offers on the Rarewaves website at optimal times and prices.
• Contribute to the promotional calendar, ensuring compelling pricing, merchandising, and email activities to boost sales.
• Stay informed about entertainment and publishing trends and key events to curate the best customer experience and conversion.
• Liaise with supply chain, IT, customer service, and marketplace teams where necessary on key releases to aid customer satisfaction and retention.
• Provide performance reports and insights on promotions and new release to improve customer experience and sales performance.
• Support the Website Manager in day-to-day online store operations, including product collections and site design.
