About the Role
weβre looking to bring on a Digital Ads Manager to help lead paid campaign performance.
This is a remote, contract role (~20 hours/month) ideal for a strategic, detail-oriented ads manager who loves collaborating with a small team to drive measurable results. Youβll own the setup, management, and optimization of Meta and Google ad campaigns, while guiding creative direction and providing performance insights that inform content and copy decisions.
Hourly rate:Β $25-$40
Expected hours per month:Β 20-25
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Strategically building and managing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns, including TOF, MOF, and BOF structures
β’ Monitoring performance daily, making optimizations, and flagging any issues or opportunities proactively
β’ Collaborating with internal copywriters and designers to guide ad creative and copy strategy β suggesting concepts, formats, hooks, and iterations based on performance data
β’ Identifying what to test next: audiences, placements, messaging, formats, and creative variations
β’ Pulling monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations
β’ Staying on top of algorithm changes, trends, and platform best practices to keep clients ahead of the curve
Requirements:
β’ Has 2+ years of hands-on experience running Meta and/or Google Ads, ideally within an agency or freelance client-based setting
β’ Has experience scaling revenue for small product-based businesses
β’ Is confident in directing ad creative and copy strategy, even if you're not doing the execution yourself
β’ Communicates clearly and proactively β you're the type to flag performance shifts before being asked
β’ Has strong reporting skills and can translate performance metrics into clear next steps
β’ Enjoys working with small, founder-led brands and understands the nuance of testing within tight budgets
