Role description
Director of Amazon & Marketplace Sales Full-time / Monday – Friday / 8:00am – 5:00pm This position is open to onsite (Venice, FL), hybrid, and potentially remote working arrangements. Enzymedica, a worldwide leader in the enzyme supplement industry, is seeking a Director of Marketplace Sales which requires strong knowledge of multiple marketplace platforms including Amazon / Seller Central, Walmart / Seller Center, Mercado Libre, Instacart, Flipcart, Tmall, etc. The position is responsible for delivering growth and managing a P&L for these platforms on a Global basis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as required): • Owning end-to-end the Selling experience to grow revenues on Amazon 3P and competitive marketplaces such as Walmart, Mercado Libre, Flipcart, Tmall, etc. • Managing all marketplace functions including advertising, campaign management, inventory management and tactical content. • Lead strategy, planning, and management of Amazon content creation (Store, A+ Content, PDP), advertising, fulfillment, and forecasting to an agreed upon P&L domestically and globally. • Manage all (on and off) Amazon advertising to ACOS and TACOS limits while increasing conversion rates and new customer acquisition. • Manage all new product rollouts to achieve high growth using Amazon tactics such as reviews, ratings, new content and pricing to maximize efforts. • Secure the company’s pricing strategy including MAP is being applied by the brand and by all authorized sellers, eliminating unauthorized sellers. • Partnering with internal and external business and technical teams to design and build features and solutions specific to country requirements, while productizing those features for regional application. • Identifying and driving new opportunities for Amazon’s Marketplace business. • Lead a team of subject matter experts in areas such as tactical content creation, advertising, cataloguing, inventory management, and reporting. • Adhere to all Enzymedica, Inc. policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations. • Participate in Performance Improvement and safety initiatives, including job related and annual training(s), i.e., cGMP, SQF. COMPETENCIES: • Must have direct experience selling supplements or wellness products under FDA and FTC overwatch. • Advanced experience in all marketplace functions including advertising, campaign management, inventory management, tactical content creation following Amazon’s guidelines. • Program and/or project management experience, leading large, cross functional efforts. • Experience in a leadership role and people management (both local and remote) including attracting, hiring, and growing top talent. • International selling required on the Amazon and competitive marketplace platforms. • Experience within the natural products industry preferred. • Prior experience selling CPG products online required. • 10+ years of Amazon 3P experience required with a concentration in 3P Seller Central and Brand Registry management and a blend of technical, business and product and/or program management roles. • Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, communications, marketing, information science or analytics preferred. MBA is a bonus. • Ability to partner across multiple functional areas and geographic locations. • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias for action. • Must exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and maintain constructive working relationships. Exceptional communication ability required both written and oral and the ability to successful record of presenting to senior level management. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook • Must be able to work alone and as part of a team. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Several 3rd party relationships will be managed by this position. This person will have 3-direct reports over time.
