About the Role: As the eCommerce Digital Shelf Insights Manageryouwill be part of an exciting and transformative eCommerce team within Ferrero USA. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting on business performance, deriving actionable insights, and translating complex analysis into simple conclusions that will empower the team to take actions that improve Ferrero’s eCommerce business results. In your role as eCommerce Digital Shelf Insights Manageryouwill own the ongoing KPIs reporting, business performance scorecard updating, and ad-hoc analysis that will educate and influence key business decision-making with our Leadership, Customer and Brand Team. You’ll support the overall eCommerce team and leadership to accelerate sales growth by collaborating with cross-functional internal teams and external agencies on meeting Digital Shelf KPI’s, category management, and optimization opportunities, while delivering best in class category insights to drive our business vs the competitive set. Business knowledge, Digital Shelf Analytics, data analysis, and communication skills are needed to thrive in this multi-functional team. This position is hybrid, based in our North American HQ in Parsippany, NJ Main Responsibilities: Principal Accountabilities • Identifies and defines unique opportunities based on market trends analytics and reporting from Amazon Vendor Central and other sources (e.g. Circana). • Builds, maintains and improves performance reports and KPIs related to ecommerce business performance (Digital Shelf Execution, Monthly Volume, Net Sales, Consumption). • Identify drivers of digital shelf performance across retailers and categories. Measure and report on performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. • Analyze ecommerce performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across key platforms. • Assisting in developing & delivering joint business plan targets and brand growth strategies for the Ferrero brand portfolio on eCommerce • Support success with our customers and partners by helping to drive our Digital Shelf initiatives and commercial strategies, boosting understanding of the eCommerce channel through the creation of an eCommerce Category Management & Digital Shelf toolkits • Conduct category assortment, promotional, cross-selling, and other relevant analyses for eCommerce and omnichannel retailers, leveraging all relevant information. • Identify and codify new analyses relevant to driving eCommerce traffic, conversion, and basket size; Integrate online and offline data into actionable insights to maximize performance in omnichannel environments. • Support the development of storylines and presentations to effectively communicate findings both internally as well as externally to retailers and other stakeholders. • Collaborate with internal teams and relevant data vendors to identify and obtain relevant data and tools for eCommerce channel insights and tracking. • Support internal teams in developing eCommerce dashboards and reporting for a cross-functional leadership audience; track key performance metrics for eCommerce performance. • Liaise with Finance to track eCommerce Financial Performance where we have ability to separate eCommerce specific channel sales; perform reporting updates to leadership for sales performance & trend analyses. • Own & optimize digital shelf intelligence tool and vendor relationship; collaborate with eCommerce Content Manager to ensure Content Compliance needs are covered in scope of tool’s outputs. • Analyze PDP performance and content health using DSA tools (CIQ, Profitero or comparable tools) identify improvement opportunities and lead resolution • Conduct quarterly/sessional competitive audits across priority categories and channels Who we are looking for: Educational Background • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree a plus Professional Experience • 3+ years of related Digital Shelf Analytics/eCategory management experience • 5+ years relevant experience across Sales, Cat Man, Digital Retail Marketing, Trade Marketing • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Scintilla and other Retailer platforms, and Circana • Strong understanding of Pureplay/Omni channel, Retail Media and Content Syndication • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve defined business problems. • Strong communications skills include the ability to deliver a clear story to influence agreement to your recommendations with data and insights. • Must be technology savvy and have strong office productivity software skills e.g. PPT, Excel etc. • Must be self-starter, able to manage ambiguity, self- motivated individual. Must possess a strong drive for results with a passion for the Category, Shopper and Customer. Compensation Data The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $158,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
