Role description
Ecommerce Coordinator
The person in this role will be responsible for listing, managing, and optimizing the online product assortment to maximize sales, conversion, and profitability across our wholesale, Shopify, e-commerce platforms, and Faire websites. This position requires a blend of strategic planning and content management, working closely with the marketing team to ensure consistency and alignment with brand objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage data analysis to optimize site performance and enhance the online customer journey by making informed adjustments to content, navigation, and user experience. This includes managing and optimizing our digital storefront to ensure that product offerings are compelling, accessible, and aligned with current market trends. Success in this role will rely on strong skills in web analytics, SEO, and user experience design to create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that drives both sales and customer loyalty. In addition, the role will be responsible for executing operational workflows and implementing digital merchandising strategies, managing product data, and updating content across all e-commerce platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimal site performance.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Management:
β’ Manage and maintain product listings, descriptions, and imagery on our DTC, Wholesale Shopify sites, and Faire listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and categorization and tags.
β’ Collaborate with the marketing team to align digital merchandising efforts with broader campaigns and promotions to increase conversion rates.
β’ Optimize navigation, search functionality, and product recommendations for enhanced user experience.
β’ Optimize product recommendations across the set to facilitate cross-sells and upsells
β’ Execute the online product lifecycle, including launches, seasonal updates, promotions, and markdowns.
β’ Perform website testing to verify functionally of content, sales, coupons, apps
β’ Manage publishing and un-publishing on items in accordance with inventory availability.
β’ Partner with the ops team to ensure optimal product assortments and inventory levels.
β’ Implement and maintain all SEO best practices, including, but not limited to, category pages, performance metrics, URL structures, keyword optimization, correct SEO issues.
β’ Optimize product listings by managing titles, descriptions, images, and attributes to improve search visibility, enhance user experience, and drive conversion.
β’ Monitor website content and functionality to ensure ongoing ADA compliance, collaborating with internal teams or vendors to implement accessibility enhancements as needed.
β’ Perform routine website maintenance and ensure compliance with digital standards, including updating site content, troubleshooting issues, and aligning with brand and legal guidelines.
β’ Analyze website traffic, sales data, customer behavior, and sales metrics to identify trends, optimize product placement in search, and identify opportunities for improvement.
β’ Generate and maintain a daily sales report for the DTC website, providing insights and identifying trends.
Qualifications
β’ Intense experience with the Shopify platform is mandatory.
β’ 2-4+ years of experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, preferably with Shopify platforms.
β’ Familiarity with Google Analytics, and SEO best practices.
β’ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
β’ Experience with product photography, graphic design, or copywriting is a plus.
β’ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and create actionable insights.
β’ Enthusiasm for fashion, family-centric brands, and the ecommerce industry.
