About The Role:
The Ecommerce Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the growth and performance of Star's eCommerce operations. Reporting to the Ecommerce Director, this advisory role is responsible for managing product listings, monitoring website performance, coordinating outbound marketing initiatives, and maintaining the eCommerce platform. The Coordinator will also analyze key performance data and provide insights to help guide strategic decisions.
Essential Functions:
Upload new products and photography to Star Furniture’s website, ensuring accuracy and SEO-friendly product descriptions in collaboration with the merchandising team.
Manage website promotions, coupons, store hours and special hours.
Assist with the planning of Promotional Site Content updates – from home pages to internal landing pages collaborating closely with Ecomm Director and Marketing Art Director.
Partner with the offshore IT team to troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
Proofread marketing materials such as emails, signage and promotional content.
Support site functionality testing alongside the IT team and Ecommerce Director.
Coordinate internal photo shoots collaborating with the photographers, visual staff, marketing team and buyers.
Collaborate on social media messaging and imagery with the Ecommerce Director and team.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma, GED, or ability to read, write, and perform mathematics at these levels is required.
Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications is preferred.
Microsoft and Excel knowledge preferred.
Photoshop skills preferred.
Copywriting experience a plus
One year of experience working in a CMS (Content Management System) in a retail Ecommerce environment preferred.
