Role description
Maxonic maintains a close and long-term relationship with our direct client. In support of their needs, we are looking for Ecommerce Digital Architect and this a contract and hybrid position in San Francisco, CA.
Resposbilities
Enterprise Digital Marketing Architect, you will be responsible for managing Enterprise-wide solutions tinclude specific expertise in Digital, E-Commerce, Data and Cloud solutions.
Lead the Architecture and design of business and tech initiatives related Digital Marketing & Personalization across different systems and applications including Ecommerce (Search, Browse, Cart, Checkout), Web/Mobile, Digital Marketing and Retail Systems.
Lead vendor selection for the new technologies, tools and capabilities.
Define selection criteria, RFI, RFP, RFQ and make relevant vendor and product choicesAs the Digital Marketing SME, spearhead all facets of Marketing InitiativesPrior experience with market leading vendors in spaces like CDP, Campaign Management and attribution, AdTech, Social Media Marketing is required.
Drive innovation in the Marketing space (Cloud Adoption, Microservices, Omni-Channel and marketing platforms, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence)

Required Experience:
Bachelorβs degree (Masterβs preferred) 10+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect15+ years of experience with Digital and E-Commerce space (E-Commerce, Web Architecture, Order Management Systems, Loyalty, Digital Marketing).
Extensive knowledge and proven experience with existing Digital, E-Commerce and Web technologies and tools (E-Commerce Platforms, Digital Marketing Tools, Search, Personalization)
Good knowledge on Foundational understanding of how internet and web works object oriented programing, RDBMS and modern NoSQL database designs and querying languages, Microservices and REST services.
Expertise in the E-Commerce, Digital domains, Personalization and related technologies
Good knowledge/Exposure on Digital Marketing tools and technologies
Extensive experience in supporting large scale E-Commerce and Digital presence
Highly experienced in architecting modern architectures based on Cloud and Microservices
Experience with next generation technologies tbuild digital experiences and capabilities is desired (AI, ML).
Experience with one or more public clouds MS Azure, AWS, GCP.
Experience with modern microservices architecture using Service Mesh, API Gateways,
Native Cloud Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Jack of All trades (Ability thave engaging and thoughtful discussions with large cross functional teams like Engineering, DevOps, Database, Networking, Infrastructure, Data, EDW as well as ability tdeep dive intthe specifics of a solution and ability tchallenge and ask the right questions).
