About the Role: In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, optimizing the customer journey, and driving revenue through digital strategies. This is a critical role that blends marketing, analytics, technology, and merchandising to ensure a seamless and effective shopping experience. You’ll have pride in the experience enjoyed by everyone who visits our websites, and you’ll help us optimize this experience, so it keeps getting better as we grow.
Responsibilities:
Website Operations:
• Oversee all additions and changes to content on the website.
• Individually update website content (landing pages, articles, menus, banners, and other assets) based on requirements from within the e-commerce team and based on external requests.
• Monitor traffic, conversion rates, and average order value. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure seamless UX/UI, and consistent brand messaging.
• Perform quality assurance for website content publishing.
Project Management and Team Coordination:
• Lead cross-functional project planning and execution for the webstore team, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment are met.
• Facilitate communication, resource allocation, and accountability across internal teams and external partners.
• Partner with digital marketing teams on SEO, paid media and email campaigns. Leverage insights from campaigns to inform webstore decisions.
• Author stories and bug reports as inputs for the Technology team.
• Intake project requests and website issue reports from other departments within the company.
• Monitor chat logs and customer contact cases for potential website improvement or content enhancement ideas.
E-Commerce Strategy & Planning:
• Continuously analyze and optimize the customer journey to improve conversion, traffic, AOV, and sales through mid-funnel strategies.
• Research new trends in digital merchandising and e-commerce and cross-shop to identify inspirations and ideas for our team to assess.
• Plan and execute a/b tests, surveys, and other tactics to gather voice-of-customer for continuous improvement of Vari’s digital experience.
• Analyze website visitor behavior (using Google Analytics, Hotjar heatmaps/surveys/recordings, and other tools) to identify issues and opportunities for improvements. Also serve as a web analytics resource for the whole e-commerce team.
• Contribute to the annual revenue planning process and periodic reporting and forecasting.
• Contribute to the digital technology roadmap planning.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years e-commerce experience.
• Self-starter, thorough attention to detail, and exemplary communication skills.
• Ability to translate creative and content needs into technical requirements, some HTML and CSS knowledge is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and project management skills.
• Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel.
• Experience with digital merchandise management.
• Experience with web data analytics.
• Experience with website optimization testing.
• Will require occasional evening and weekend work.
• Preference given to experience with any of the following tools: Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware), Google Analytics, Hotjar, Yotpo, Tealium, Looker.
