Role description
eCommerce Manager - Once a Week/Fortnight in Maine. $90-110k base + bonus!
This role is with a well established D2C brand who are looking to re-platform to Shopify. The business has been running for 50+ years and are now having a huge push on their eCommerce presence. With a premium product offering and strong investment, this is a company set up for success.
Role Overview
Weβre looking for a hands-on eCommerce manager to lead the online presence. This person will enhance user experience, driving online revenue, and executing promotions and launches. Youβll work cross-functionally with creative, operations, and marketing to ensure the digital customer journey is seamless, branded, and conversion-optimized.
We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of scaling a D2C brand on Shopify. You would take full ownership of the online P&L where eCommerce is currently only a small percentage of the overall revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management & Merchandising
β’ Maintain and update product listings, collections, banners, and on-site content in line with marketing campaigns and seasonal calendars
β’ Coordinate product launches, limited drops, and promotional events
β’ Monitor on-site performance and ensure alignment with brand and messaging
User Experience & Optimization
β’ Perform routine QA of site functionality across desktop and mobile
β’ Partner with internal and external developers to roll out UX improvements, bug fixes, and new features
β’ Use analytics tools to identify friction points and propose CRO-focused updates
Digital Strategy & Performance
β’ Track key ecommerce metrics such as conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, and traffic trends
β’ Support A/B testing efforts and build hypotheses for improving user flow and product discovery
β’ Stay informed on ecommerce tech, industry trends, and emerging best practices
Who You Are
β’ 5+ years' experience in DTC ecommerce management, ideally within Luxury Goods
β’ Strong experience with Shopify
β’ Analytical mindset with comfort using GA4, Hotjar, or similar tools
β’ Collaborative and detail-oriented β you thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment
β’ Bonus: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or digital design tools is a plus
