Job Description
About the Role:
While you'll have heard our name, there's a lot you probably don't know about NEXT. Like how we facilitate e-commerce for numerous other brands that don't have the scale and know-how we do; we're growing faster than ever.
Our Digital Marketing Communications team is at the heart of our growth strategy for the NEXT app. We're looking for a Marketing Executive on a 12 month FTC to support the promotion of our app through push for our International business. Reporting to the Digital Communications Lead, you will be a keen problem solver able to work within a large, global team of marketers. This role will deliver the International Push, Whatsapp and SMS programme and support the wider marketing team with their scheduled Push & SMS activities, with the goal of developing into the subject matter expert for App marketing as they gain training and experience.
You will work closely with key teams and stakeholders to create bespoke campaigns to increase sales, and drive recruitment and retention on push. You will also own and maintain the marketing communications schedule for Push, Whatsapp and SMS, and develop and execute marketing campaigns for these channels. A significant part of this role will be to analyse the performance of all marketing campaigns to provide actionable insights and improvements for future development and to report on the sales revenue generated.
Please note that this is a 12 month FTC position covering family leave and is based from our Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire. Weβd love for you to start with us in Winter 2025 to have an effective handover period.
About You:
You will have:
β’ Marketing experience, ideally gained in a retail environment and working on push or SMS campaigns.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
β’ The ability to be self-motivated, highly organised, and adaptable in a changing environment, staying calm under pressure.
β’ A creative and inquisitive nature with a thirst to learn more.
β’ An aptitude for attention to detail.
β’ Intermediate level user of the Google Suite.
In addition, we're looking for you to have:
β’ Experience with push and SMS service platforms, though this isn't essential if you have a background in email and CRM platforms.
β’ The ability to take direction and deliver tasks accordingly.
β’ A "can-do" attitude and be an effective team player.
You'll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office on a hybrid basis. It's a fast-paced, encouraging, and supportive environment where everyone is committed to delivering for our customers and growing their own careers. Bring your energy. Play to your strengths. Let's Take It On.
