Role description
At Hoffman Media, we’re passionate about storytelling, exceptional design, and connecting with our audiences through iconic lifestyle brands. We’re looking for a driven Ecommerce Merchandiser to join our marketing team and help shape the digital shopping experience across eight brand storefronts.
In this role, you'll own the day-to-day operations of our online stores—from product listings and inventory management to merchandising strategy and seasonal launches. Key Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Site Management
Optimize product listings across all brand storefronts, ensuring accurate imagery, pricing, copy, SEO metadata, and categorization
Maintain product discoverability through thoughtful merchandising and site structure
Create and manage SKUs, update inventory data, and ensure pricing and promotional accuracy
Regularly audit and clean up outdated listings, categories, and coupons
Coordinate with third-party distributors on product launches, inventory updates, and shipping details
Support product page testing and QA for website updates or new features
Fulfillment & Wholesale Support
Act as liaison between internal teams and external fulfillment partners
Process wholesale and drop-ship orders, including generating invoices and tracking documentation
Reconcile payments for events and wholesale orders fulfilled by third-party distributors
Promotions & Product Launches
Assist in executing seasonal campaigns and promotions, including coupon code and QR code generation
Coordinate new product launches across websites, ensuring consistent messaging and availability
Manage URL redirects and content gating for membership programs
UX & Customer Experience Optimization
Monitor website performance and customer behavior to identify improvement opportunities
Collaborate with the tech and creative teams to implement enhancements that improve navigation, trust, and conversion
Proactively suggest content, design, or structural updates that support a seamless shopping experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience & Education
1+ years in an ecommerce merchandising, online store management, or digital operations role
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field
Tools & Technical Skills
Proficiency in ecommerce platforms (WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Squarespace)
Working knowledge of ClickUp or other project management tools
Familiarity with QR code generators, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video hosting platforms (e.g., Vimeo)
Solid Excel/Google Sheets skills for tracking and reporting
Soft Skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
Collaborative spirit with a proactive and problem-solving approach
