Client Overview: Our client, a leading American designer of fine accessories in leather and fabric, is seeking an Ecommerce Merchandising Coordinator to join their team in Norwalk, CT.
Role Overview: The eCommerce Search & Merchandising Coordinator supports the online shopping experience by driving content, coordinating efforts, and optimizing product presentation across digital platforms. Product presentation, category optimization and owing the βdigital shelfβ will be principal goals. Working closely with internal eCommerce team members and cross-functional partners, this role helps improve product discovery, navigation, and search effectiveness. It blends creativity, analytical skills, and collaboration to enhance conversion, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
Ecommerce Merchandising Coordinator Responsibilities:
β’ Curate landing pages, product categories, and search filters.
β’ Lead the scheduling and brand content across websites and mobile apps.
β’ Support creation and maintenance of landing pages, banners, and promotional content to align with campaigns.
β’ Manage the overall customer experience on the landing pages to continually improve content and overall product presentation.
β’ Assist and coordinate with internal eCommerce team members to maintain consistency and accuracy in product information (descriptions, images, pricing, attributes).
β’ Partner with marketing, product management, and creative teams to ensure seamless launch of new content and campaign execution.
β’ Contribute to optimizing navigation, category structures, and on-site search for improved product discovery.
β’ Ensure visual consistency of product assortments and promotional content.
β’ Apply merchandising strategies to highlight key SKUs and seasonal campaigns.
β’ Help track KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, and sales trends.
β’ Assist with reporting to evaluate merchandising and search performance, taking insights and building them into actionable improvements and updates to the websites.

β’ Bachelorsβ degree and 2+ years of experience in eCommerce merchandising, site content management, or digital marketing.
β’ Experience with eCommerce platforms, Shopify preferred; content management systems (CMS), product information management (PIM) systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
β’ Knowledge of eCommerce KPIs, SEO principles, and A/B testing.
