Role description
Overview The Ecommerce Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and execution of digital experiences that drive conversion, engagement, and growth across Cavender’s digital channels. Serving as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, this role ensures platform stability, translates business needs into technical requirements, and identifies opportunities to optimize the end-to-end commerce ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for our eCommerce & Digital Marketing technology stack, including platform development, third-party integrations, site performance, and new feature deployment. The Ecommerce Product Manager partners closely with UX/UI, engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver best-in-class ecommerce solutions aligned with company goals and customer needs. Duties and Responsibilities • Support the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision and Values. • Deliver product roadmap for the ecommerce platform (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and Marketing’s strategic initiatives. • Lead discovery, prioritization, and delivery of features across web and mobile platforms. • Translate business needs into technical requirements and development-ready user stories. • Lead sprint planning, grooming sessions, and sprint reviews within an Agile framework. • Write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Own and track key KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, and checkout completion. • Manage and coordinate with third-party Managed Service Providers (MSP) responsible for development and support activities for Cavender’s website. • Maintain day-to-day relationships with engineering teams, resolving issues and unblocking delivery. • Lead integration and technical management of eCommerce and marketing technologies, including Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Manager (DAM), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), email marketing tools, and analytics platforms. • Communicate goals, requirements, roadmaps, and timelines to internal and remote project teams. • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product roadmap, releases, and platform performance. • Partner with Business and UX teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with product goals. • Collaborate with IT to ensure effective technology implementation. Qualifications and Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business Administration, related field, or relevant experience. • 7+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years in eCommerce or digital retail. • Proven ability to manage the full product lifecycle in a fast-paced digital environment. • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, APIs, data architecture, and Agile methodologies. • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant digital tools. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. • Based in Tyler, TX at our Home Office; Remote or Hybrid, willing to travel to Home Office as needed. Preferred Skills • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), CDPs, email marketing systems, and analytics tools (Tealium, Braze, Snowflake, D365, Loyalty, MMM). • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end development technologies. • A/B Testing experience. • Passion for customer experience, retail innovation, and western wear.
