Represented in more than 50 countries, with products sold in more than 170, the Ferrero Group is revered by generations around the world. The secret to our global success? 40,000 employees who celebrate care and quality to craft a business, careers and brands we are proud of. Join us, and you could be one of them.
Diversity Statement:
Ferrero is committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture in which all employees feel welcomed and appreciated and have the same opportunities. We believe all of our people are equally talented in their own way. In nurturing the curiosity and natural abilities of our employees, we provide them, generation after generation, the means to succeed personally and professionally, enabling them to craft their journey at Ferrero. The diversity of our talents is what makes our work environment multicultural, innovative and highly rewarding.
About the Role:
Join a brand that’s loved worldwide and help shape the future of online retail.
As our eCommerce Trading Controller, you’ll take the lead on driving commercial success across our Pureplay eCommerce channels. You’ll craft and execute bold trading strategies, driving standout growth, and forging powerful partnerships with key digital retailers. Your commercial expertise and strategic mindset will unlock new opportunities and elevate Ferrero’s digital presence in the UK.
Main Responsibilities:
As eCommerce Trading Controller, you will take full ownership of our Pureplay trading strategy, developing and executing plans that drive profitable growth and deliver against ambitious commercial targets. You’ll manage budgets, oversee performance planning, and stay ahead of market trends to identify new opportunities that keep Ferrero at the forefront of digital retail.
You will build and nurture strong relationships with our Pureplay customers, third-party partners, and internal stakeholders across the Ferrero Group. From leading joint business plan negotiations to embedding best practices across UK and global teams, you’ll ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with global standards.
In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of trading campaigns, tactical promotions, and new product launches across Pureplay channels. You’ll manage the digital shelf to ensure our products shine online, optimising content, imagery, and reviews while delivering competitive commercial propositions that stand out in a crowded market. You’ll also monitor competitor activity and work closely with the eShopper Marketing Manager to unlock innovative growth opportunities.
You will manage and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of inclusion, motivation, and continuous development. You’ll recruit, coach, and empower your team to thrive, driving engagement and supporting their professional growth in line with Ferrero’s values.
Who we are looking for:
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring solid FMCG trading experience, with a strong grasp of retail operations and commercial levers that drive performance. You’ll be confident owning the full P&L and making strategic decisions that deliver results.
You’ll have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party relationships with impact. Your negotiation skills and commercial acumen will help forge strong partnerships and drive joint business plans.
Clear, confident communication across all levels is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping profitability front and centre.
You’ll be an inspiring leader, able to coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of inclusion, accountability, and growth.
Ideally, you’ll have hands-on eCommerce trading experience, especially on platforms like Amazon. Familiarity with Vendor Central and pureplay retail environments is a strong advantage, as is a deep understanding of online customer behaviour.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is key. You’ll use it to analyse data, shape plans, and deliver insights that drive our digital strategy.
How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:
We encourage all our people to think creatively to set personal targets and objectives and push new, better ways to work. Employee contribution and engagement at Ferrero is based on the individual, team and organization dimension, so should have the ability to work independently, as a part of the team and be able to build proper relations with stakeholders at all levels. A demonstrable consumer-focused attitude and autonomy in managing relationships will help you in building your position among stakeholders and achieving expected sales outcomes.
