Role description
JOB TITLE: Ecommerce Specialist JOB LOCATION: Belfast TERMS: Fixed term contract for 12 month with potential for renewal pending performance and organisational requirements – hybrid working THE JOB We’re looking for a data-driven Ecommerce Specialist to own and enhance our online customer journey from acquisition to retention. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with minimum 5 years of experience in ecommerce and performance marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. You will lead the day-to-day performance and optimisation of Fibrus’ ecommerce website and customer portal, manage marketing automation flows, and play a pivotal role in campaign execution and analysis. Success in this role requires a strong mix of analytical acumen, UX awareness, and cross-functional coordination. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Ecommerce & Website Optimisation • Manage daily operations and continuous optimisation of the Fibrus website to drive leads and improve conversion rates. • Deliver seamless user experiences across mobile and desktop with a strong focus on UX, CRO, and technical performance (e.g. page speed, mobile responsiveness). • Lead A/B testing and UX experiments to improve funnel performance. • Monitor and report on ecommerce KPIs including traffic, AOV, bounce rate, exit rate, and goal completions. • Use GA4, in-house dashboards, and behavioural tools (e.g. Hotjar, FullStory) to drive data-backed improvements. • Manage and maintain content via CMS platforms (WordPress or Sanity), ensuring accuracy and SEO best practices. • Oversee performance and development roadmap of the customer portal, identifying UX or technical enhancements. Email, SMS & Automation (via Brevo) • Own the execution and monitoring of automated lifecycle journeys (e.g. welcome, retention) using Brevo. • Coordinate segmented email and SMS campaigns aligned with product launches, promotions, and customer lifecycle stages. • Conduct performance analysis and testing (e.g. A/B subject line testing, timing experiments) to optimise open and click-through rates. Cross-functional Collaboration • Partner with agencies to deliver and test site or portal updates, feature launches, and bug fixes. • Collaborate with Brand, Affiliate, and Performance Marketing teams to align digital execution with overall campaign strategy. • Deliver campaign performance insights and recommendations using data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Power BI) KPIs • Website conversion rate and average order value (AOV) • Email & SMS open rates, CTR, and attributed revenue • Ecommerce funnel drop-off rates and session duration • Portal usage metrics (logins, task completion, feedback) • Affiliate conversion rate and revenue contribution • Contribution to customer acquisition and retention targets WHAT WILL YOU BRING? • Experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, or performance marketing roles. • Proven experience managing ecommerce sites and customer platforms, including CRO initiatives. • Confident with GA4, Brevo (or similar marketing automation tools), and CMS platforms such as WordPress or Sanity. • Experience with funnel analysis, multi-channel campaign delivery, and lifecycle marketing. • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple digital touchpoints simultaneously. • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills and a keen eye for detail. • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
