Role Description
As an Ecommerce Specialist at Spoonflower, you will support the execution of our site strategy and optimization roadmap to ensure a seamless and engaging customer experience. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and excited to roll up their sleeves to make an impact. Youβll work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and cross-functional partners in Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, UX, Product, and Engineering teams to implement site updates, monitor performance, and contribute to continuous testing and learning.
Your work will directly support revenue growth, improve conversion rates, and enhance our customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Merchandising
β’ Support the implementation of site updates, including navigation, product features, landing pages, and global content changes.
β’ Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns, promotions, and new product launches are accurately represented onsite.
β’ Conduct quality assurance (QA) on site changes to ensure accuracy and functionality across devices.
Optimization & Testing
β’ Assist in executing the ecommerce testing roadmap, setting up A/B or multivariate tests in collaboration with Marketing, Product, and UX.
β’ Monitor and validate test variations to ensure correct set-up and functionality before launch.
β’ Track test performance and provide initial readouts to inform ongoing optimizations.
Performance Tracking & Analysis
β’ Regularly monitor ecommerce funnel metrics (traffic, conversion, bounce rate, add to cart, checkout completion).
β’ Compile weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key trends and opportunities.
β’ Conduct ad-hoc analyses on site behavior, merchandising performance, and customer journeys to support data-driven decisions.
Continuous Improvement & Support
β’ Stay current on ecommerce best practices, CRO trends, and site merchandising tactics.
β’ Proactively identify small-scale site improvements and collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager to prioritize execution.
β’ Maintain documentation of testing, QA processes, and site changes to ensure knowledge continuity across the team.
Experience
β’ Experience in ecommerce, site merchandising, digital marketing, or web analytics.
β’ Familiarity with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Heap, or similar).
β’ Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms and content management systems.
β’ Exposure to A/B testing platforms (Optimizely, VWO, Google Optimize, etc.)
β’ Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
Skills
β’ Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.
β’ Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot patterns.
β’ Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
