XD Designer II
Locations: Akron, OH, Dallas, TX or Remote
POSITION SUMMARY:
The XD Designer II directly supports and manages user experience strategy and design for our digital organization, creating concepts and design solutions using modern web practices keeping in consideration the technical constraints of each individual project. They work seamlessly with fellow designers, researchers, product partners, developers and more. Expected expertise and deliverables may include information architecture, user flows, user interface designs, prototypes, and design documentation. They also contribute to our growing design system and promote usability and consistency throughout the system and all related work.
The XD Designer II also consistently presents work to stakeholders, partners and peers for review and feedback. They should not only be able to iterate quickly based off that feedback, but also be willing to constructively critique team membersβ designs in the context of the user needs and intended business outcomes. They should also show commitment to understanding business needs, success metrics, and user needs to help proactively engage in initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
β’ Create detailed and production-ready design artifacts that align to our design language system, product roadmap, and vision. This may include user flows, wireframes, high fidelity interface design, motion design, and supporting design documentation.
β’ Understand customer goals, business requirements, technical constraints, and work within project parameters. Work with our stakeholders to gain deeper insights and pragmatic solutions to the problems we are solving.
β’ Support the design teamβs growth through education, experimentation, and staying on top of the latest industry trends.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
β’ College degree in Fine Arts, Design, Marketing, Retailing, E-Commerce or related field, or +4 years of experience developing and implementing solutions with measurable results in the Digital Design field.
β’ Experience in digital design, ecommerce, web design, digital product design, or digital marketing is required. Mastery of interaction design, site architecture, and designing intuitive user interfaces and navigation that align to an ideal customer journey. Experience in jewelry, luxury goods, or omnichannel retail is a plus.
β’ 2 β 4 years of related experience is required
