Position : eCommerce Web Developer
Work Hours (Client) : 8:30am - 5:00pm Eastern Time
Holidays : US holidays (TBD during onboarding)
Pay Range : $3000 - $3500 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)
Location of Search : Eastern Europe, Portugal - REMOTE
Company/Client Overview
The company is the next generation of sweat care. They're reimagining the antiperspirant industry by creating science-backed, effective products that make sweat irrelevant. The client is looking for an eCommerce Web Developer to help them reach their ambitious growth goals and join their team based in North Carolina.
They're looking for someone to execute web development projects to optimize and upgrade the website, which sees over 10,000,000 visitors per year (that number is growing rapidly) and drives over half of the companyβs revenue.
The job requires a strong drive to improve every facet of the website - from add to carts through checkout upsells - and create a world-class user experience through it all. Youβd be responsible for website performance, uptime, and basic web development & A/B tests. Robust ability in CSS and Javascript is required, but no formal job experience nor degree is necessary.
Duties And Responsibilities
β’ Execute massive website improvements (design, buy flow, cross-sells, etc.) to increase conversion rate, subscriber base, AOV, and other metrics that drive growth
β’ Constantly A/B test improvements on every level of the website.
β’ Keep the company's Shopify site operational 24/7.
β’ Manage 3rd party Shopify plugins and their performance.
Minimum Requirements
β’ Very smart, good at coding and logic puzzles
β’ Ambitious, high-energy, and solutions-oriented
β’ Proficient in CSS and Javascript, and confident that you can learn and become top-notch in Liquid (Shopify language)
β’ Decent design eye and attention to detail (i.e. you can do good work with CSS and QA your projects effectively)
β’ Ability to work with GIT and manage multiple simultaneous development projects.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Understanding of basic eCommerce operations.
β’ Able to stay organized and work in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Resourceful, detail-oriented, and solution-based attitude.
β’ Has an understanding of data analysis and data strategy.
β’ Effective communication and project management skills.
