Role description
Cannascale is a retention marketing agency specializing in email and lifecycle marketing for hemp and wellness brands. We’re looking for a hands-on Account Strategist who can both own client relationships and execute directly in Klaviyo and related tools. You’ll oversee campaign programs, guide creative direction, manage automations, and report on performance, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks across multiple accounts. What You’ll Do Campaign Management • Oversee end-to-end campaign production for multiple clients, including a large 7–9 figure brand. • Ensure campaigns are on-brand, on-time, and fully QA’d. • Confidently make light copy or design changes when needed. Automation & Lifecycle Flows • Audit, build, and optimize Klaviyo automations (welcome, replenishment, win-back, post-purchase, etc.). • Map and improve customer journeys, ensuring every touchpoint builds trust and drives revenue. Deliverability & Performance • Monitor inbox placement, sender reputation, and list hygiene. • Proactively flag and fix deliverability issues before they become problems. • Implement segmentation and sending best practices. Client Strategy & Communication • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for several accounts. • Confidently guide tactical direction and make decisions without constant oversight. • Balance big-picture lifecycle strategy with hands-on execution. Performance Reporting • Build weekly/monthly reporting decks and dashboards. • Translate performance data into clear insights and next steps. • Present findings in a consultative way that builds client trust. Team Oversight • Coordinate with other team members, copywriters, and designers. What We’re Looking For • 3–5+ years of email/lifecycle marketing experience in e-commerce, ideally within an agency or multi-brand environment. • Hands-on expertise with Klaviyo (campaign setup, flows, reporting). • Proven track record managing 7-, 8-, or 9-figure e-commerce brands. • Understanding of email deliverability best practices and how to maintain strong sender reputation. • Skilled at customer journey mapping and translating it into actionable flows and campaigns. • Strong design eye: able to direct creative, catch inconsistencies, and protect brand integrity. • Extremely high attention to detail, from campaign QA to reporting accuracy. • Familiarity with the e-commerce stack, eg. (Shopify, Reviews, Loyalty, Subscription, etc.) • Experience working with hemp and wellness brands, a strong plus. • Client-facing confidence: you can own accounts, present insights, and make decisions. • Organized and proactive: keeps projects moving without waiting for direction.
