Email Marketing Manager – Content & Publishing – Salary up to £40k + great benefits, hybrid
Our client is a highly successful, award-winning content agency looking for a creative Email Marketing Manager to join their growing team. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days working remotely from home, and 2 days in their London office. In addition to flexible working, our client offers a 25 days’ holiday (+ bank holidays+ Xmas week), early finish Fridays, healthcare and a focus on continued professional development.
About the Role
Creativity is at the heart of everything they do and you will oversee newsletter and content marketing campaigns for clients. This role requires strong experience across email marketing and excellent organisational skills. Naturally you will champion best practices in digital marketing and campaign management as well as manage a junior team member.
Analysis and reporting skills will be used to create marketing performance reports for clients across various industries and you will use analytics programs such as Google Analytics to track and analyse data. As Email Marketing Manager you will maintain marketing calendars and campaign schedules for building and testing email campaigns across various platforms. You will segment and manage email lists to ensure targeted and personalised messaging and test all email campaigns for deliverability, rendering, links, and accuracy. Strong knowledge of data privacy and accessibility regulations (eg GDPR, EEA) is essential alongside experience with A/B testing and data collection, tracking results and optimising campaigns. Creativity is key using Canva and other design platforms to create and schedule captivating social media posts.
What We’re Looking For
• Solid experience in email marketing – preferably within a B2B environment
• Experience with online project management software (eg Trello) a bonus
• Able to interpret data and utilise results
• Experience of team leadership, within a professional or personal environment.
• Ability to manage a budget
• Experience in most aspects of digital marketing
• Great copywriting skills
• Good sense of humour and the ability to put people at ease!
• A curious and creative mindset
