Role description
Job Description About You: You’re more than a creative thinker — you’re a strategic leader with deep knowledge of email & SMS marketing, the e-commerce industry, and more specifically the fashion, jewelry, and beauty space. You thrive on creative challenges, using a mix of historical data, current industry trends, and problem-solving to develop winning strategies that drive client growth and ROI. As an Email Marketing Strategist, you’ll be in a client-facing role, partnering directly with brands to understand their goals, communicate performance, and provide clear recommendations. Your focus will be on scaling clients’ retention programs by delivering personalized, data-driven communication that builds lasting customer relationships. Let’s Break That Down a Bit More • Client Onboarding & Setup: Oversee email account setup during onboarding and ensure all retention tools (Klaviyo, acquisition tools, review platforms, loyalty programs) are properly integrated. • Campaign and Flow Strategy & Execution: Manage pop-up forms, audience segmentation, copywriting, flow creation, and campaign launches. Develop lifecycle targeting strategies informed by predictive analytics and client goals. • Creative Collaboration & QA: Draft creative briefs, partner with designers to bring campaigns to life, and ensure flawless execution through proofreading and QA. • Calendar Management: Own marketing calendars informed by client goals, past performance and competitor analysis • Reporting, Insights & Optimization: Pull and analyze KPI reports, share actionable insights, benchmark performance, and run ongoing tests to maximize results. • Client Partnership & Communication: Act as a strategic extension of client teams—understanding their goals, managing calendars, conducting competitive research, and presenting insights via email and Zoom calls to build clear growth roadmaps. • Project Management: Keep campaigns on track by meeting key milestones, maintaining momentum, and aligning execution with strategic objectives.
