TikTok is transforming the way people discover and shop online. As part of this, the MAI team helps sellers join TikTok Shop, grow their business, and reach new customers. The Merchant Acquisition and Incubation (MAI) team plays a key role in this growth – supporting sellers with the tools, knowledge, and content they need to succeed. To strengthen this, they're hiring an English Copywriter to be based in London. What you’ll do • Write and proofread compelling copy across email, app notifications, social media, and community channels. • Create engaging learning materials for sellers – from webinar scripts and one-pagers to video narratives and live sessions. • Tailor messaging for different seller needs, ensuring content is practical, clear, and results-driven. • Collaborate with Legal, PR, Marketing, and Operations to ensure consistency and compliance. • Play a central role in TikTok Shop’s seller education efforts, driving measurable impact on growth and sales. What we’re looking for • English speaker with excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. • 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally with exposure to digital, creative, or advertising environments. • Strong research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences. • An independent thinker who can show how their work has delivered tangible results. • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative – thrives in a fast-paced environment. • Knowledge of the UK eCommerce market is an advantage.
