Role description
Join Our Dev-Focused Web Team – Hiring Now! We're looking for a junior-to-mid level developer to join our team on a temporary basis (initially a few months) — with the option for the role to become permanent if it's a good fit on both sides. If you're someone who communicates well, likes to keep code tidy, enjoys smoothing out the rough edges of a project and a readiness to jump into real-world tasks spanning WordPress and our integrated web apps— we want you on the team. 💼 What We Do We're an agency building and maintaining: • WordPress & WooCommerce stores with custom plugins and app-level integrations • Angular-based web and mobile apps (e.g., Booking & POS systems) • Integrations with ERP systems and cloud-based backends • Clear, helpful support relationships with our clients — they feel safe asking questions, without fear of confusion 🔧 What You'll Be Doing (Daily) • Maintaining Sites – Plugin/theme updates, fixes, and patching routines • Testing – Responsible for testing all work moved into our internal test column • Code Reviews – Reviewing pull requests and highlighting logic or consistency issues • Documentation – Documenting completed work clearly for internal use and for clients • Support & Debugging – Investigating bugs and assisting teammates with troubleshooting • Assigned Development Tasks – Building out new features across WordPress, plugins, or mobile-connected APIs ✅ What You’ll Need • 2+ years of professional experience as a developer • Comfort working with WordPress, WooCommerce, and custom plugin logic (PHP + JS) • Solid QA instincts – you can think like a tester and catch edge cases • Familiarity with Git, pull requests, and basic review workflows • Good communication skills, from handing a task to a colleague to test or when writing documentation • Good communication skills — whether in Jira comments, Slack discussions or in-person chats. • High comfort level working and communicating via tools like Jira or Slack. 💡 Helpful but not required • Angular development experience • An eye for design and UI adjustments 🧠 How We Work • Remote-first team, with optional office days depending on location • Slack is our daily driver for updates, decisions, and collaboration • Weekly planning + review cycles (Jira & BitBucket) Salary & benefits • TBC 📬 Ready to Apply?
