GLD is a fast-growing, DTC jewelry brand at the intersection of fashion and technology. We're looking for a talented Frontend Developer to help evolve our digital storefront and enhance the customer experience through performance-optimized, scalable React-based web applications.
What You’ll Do
· Build and maintain interactive frontend applications using React.js, Redux, Remix, and Tailwind CSS.
· Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to define and deliver engaging user experiences.
· Optimize frontend performance and implement responsive designs across devices (RWD).
· Write clean, maintainable code following modern JavaScript and TypeScript practices.
· Collaborate in building SEO-friendly and high-converting e-commerce experiences.
What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Experience
· Work with Shopify themes and customize components using Liquid.
· Proven experience developing frontend applications using React and Redux.
· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
· Hands-on experience with server-side rendering (SSR) in frameworks like Remix.
· Deep understanding of the Shopify platform and Liquid templating language.
· Understanding of responsive web design (RWD) and frontend performance principles.
· Working knowledge of Node.js for SSR and data integration.
Preferred Qualifications
· Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
· Understanding of SEO best practices.
· Experience working with GraphQL APIs.
· Exposure to Firebase and real-time data syncing.
· Knowledge of Shopify Hydrogen for headless e-commerce development.
· Ability to write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
