We’re lean, fast-moving and allergic to boring corporate nonsense. We need a Full Stack Developer who lives and breathes JavaScript to help us ship features that merchants love. The Challenge Do you actually enjoy hunting down that one rogue async call tanking your load time? Do you find satisfaction in making messy codebases elegant? We’re looking for a JavaScript wizard who can: • Debug and ship full stack features using modern JS (ES6+, TypeScript, Node, Remix, React) • Make frontend + backend play nice together without blowing up the render pipeline • Spot performance bottlenecks before they ruin someone’s demo • Ship fixes and improvements fast — and keep them from breaking again • If that sounds fun (and maybe a little terrifying), keep reading. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications using modern JavaScript technologies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. • Contribute to both frontend and backend architecture, ensuring seamless integration and performance. • Proactively identify and implement improvements in architecture, code quality, and user experience. • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance productivity or product quality. Required Skills & Experience • Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) with a solid understanding of core programming principles. • Proficiency in TypeScript for both frontend and backend development. • Solid experience with React-based frameworks (e.g., Remix, Next.js, etc.). • Experience building and working with multi-tier architecture and distributed systems. • Backend experience with Node.js (or similar), RESTful APIs, and database interactions. • Working knowledge of database management systems is a plus. • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and frameworks. • Experience with UI libraries like Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or similar. • Strong problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking mindset. • Understanding of secure, scalable, and maintainable software development practices. Bonus Points • Shopify experience is a major plus. • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and storefront customization. • Experience with deployment pipelines, cloud platforms, or serverless architecture.
