About the Role: ALEF Online Academy is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a proactive and motivated Full-Stack Developer Intern to join our team. This 3-month remote internship is ideal for individuals passionate about both frontend and backend development, especially in building and enhancing e-commerce platforms with secure payment gateways. You'll contribute to meaningful projects while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities: • Develop & Integrate Payment Gateways: Assist in building and managing secure payment gateway solutions to ensure smooth transaction processing. • Frontend Development: Contribute to creating intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the shopping experience. • Backend Development: Support the development of scalable server-side code for functionalities like checkout, user authentication, and order management. • Database Management: Help design and maintain databases to efficiently handle inventory, orders, and customer data. • Debug & Optimize: Participate in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing platform performance. • API Integration: Assist in integrating third-party APIs (e.g., shipping, analytics, tax calculators). • Security Awareness: Learn and support the implementation of security best practices to protect customer data. Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Frontend Basics: • Basic knowledge of React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. • Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. • Some experience with frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap is a plus. Backend Basics: • Exposure to Node.js, Express, or Django. • Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. E-commerce Exposure (Bonus): • Awareness of e-commerce concepts like shopping carts, payment gateways, and product catalogs. • Interest in learning about payment gateways like Stripe or PayPal. • Basic knowledge of SEO or analytics tools is an added advantage. DevOps (Not Required, but Nice to Have): • Understanding of version control using Git. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a bonus.
