Role description
The Opportunity We're not looking for a resume. We're looking for someone who lives in the world of DTC—who's been stuck on ad dashboards at midnight, rebuilt product pages without being asked, and knows what “conversion rate” actually means. Brewista and Bonavita are both quietly iconic brands in the specialty coffee world. We’ve been around. We’ve led. We’ve built category-defining products used by coffee pros and design-minded brewers around the globe. But we’re just getting started. We’re building a direct-to-consumer machine that’s lean, intentional, and ready to grow. And we’re looking for someone to take ownership of that engine—someone who understands the full stack of digital commerce and has the fire to do something with it. Who This Is For This role is for someone who wants to own results. You know how to run Meta and Google campaigns, build a Klaviyo flow, and optimize a Shopify PDP without needing to ask what the bounce rate is. You don’t wait around for strategy—you test, track, and figure it out. You’re not just running playbooks; you’re improving them. You might not have a perfect title for what you do. You might be freelancing. Or you might be underutilized somewhere else. Either way—you want to work on a brand that respects the craft and gives you the room to grow something meaningful. What You'll Actually Do This is a full-stack DTC role across two respected brands:Brewista (design-forward brewing tools)Bonavita (award-winning brewers and kettles) You will: Own day-to-day Shopify operations for both brands Plan and run paid ads (Meta, Google, TikTok)—top to bottom funnel Build and manage Klaviyo flows and campaigns (email + SMS) Test and optimize: bounce rate, conversion rate, AOV, ROAS Report on what’s working—and fix what’s not Work with freelancers or content partners to build UGC, short-form, or other assets Keep things moving fast without sacrificing quality or voice What We're Looking For 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce (not corporate fluff—real results) You’ve owned or helped run Shopify stores before You’ve personally managed ad campaigns, not just "worked with an agency" You know Klaviyo, flows, popups, segmentation, and campaign logic You understand the basics of CRO, UX, and landing page performance You're resourceful, self-taught in places, and figure things out Bonus Points (Not Requirements) You like coffee. Or gear. Or both. You’ve made UGC or worked with creators You’ve played in Figma, Shopify Liquid, or Canva You’ve run your own project, brand, or hustle You’re comfortable wearing a few hats if it helps the team move faster What We Offer Base salary range: $65,000, DOE In-person energy, real ownership, and a team that listens Zero micromanagement. High expectations. Real autonomy. A front-row seat to shape the future of two category-leading brands Opportunity to grow and scale with the company To Apply Don't overthink it.Send us: A resume or LinkedIn profile A few sentences on why this role caught your attention (Optional) A campaign you’re proud of, a store you’ve helped grow, or something you built We’re not in a rush to fill this—we’re looking for the right person. If that’s you, we want to talk. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $65,000.00 per year Application Question(s): A product just launched, and we want to get sales moving this week. You have a $1,000 ad budget. What’s your play? (You can be general — this is about strategy, not perfect numbers.) When you hit a wall or don’t know something, how do you figure it out? Give an example. Are you comfortable with the compensation range for this role, as listed in the job description? On a scale of 1–10, how confident are you in your ability to increase conversion rates on a Shopify store? What would be the first things you'd look at? What makes you different? What do you want us to know? • pitch yourself :) Work Location: Remote
