Position Overview:
We are seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable applications and integrations. You will play a key role in building a centralized API integration platform that connects internal systems, partner networks, e-commerce platforms, payment processors, and logistics providers. This role requires strong full-stack development skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Contribute towards building and maintaining a centralized API gateway to unify internal and partner integrations.
• Implement GraphQL for internal applications and REST/webhooks for partner/vendor-facing APIs.
• Develop and manage standardized vendor and partner connectors (healthcare networks, e-commerce platforms, payment processors, logistics providers).
• Help ensure role-based access control (RBAC), authentication, and tenant enforcement across all APIs.
• Deploy and maintain applications and integration services on AWS Cloud (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver compliant, high-quality features.
• Assist in maintaining HIPAA compliance in all applications and integrations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB.
• Expertise with GraphQL (Apollo) for internal services and REST/webhooks for external integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or health tech environments.
• Understanding of PHI data handling, healthcare interoperability, and HIPAA compliance is helpful.
• Background integrating with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
• Experience building API gateways and integration platforms.
• Prior work building multi-tenant, RBAC-secured API platforms.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, JWT).
• Hands-on experience with AWS deployment and cloud scaling strategies.
• Experience in fast-paced or startup environments.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Compensation depends on experience but is typically $60-70/hr.
