Senior Web Applications Architect & Developer Hybrid – Los Alamitos, CA W2 This senior role leads the design, development, and lifecycle support of web-based applications critical to business operations and revenue. The position involves hands-on coding, architectural planning, project leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders, focusing on developing scalable, secure, and high-performing systems. Key Responsibilities: • Lead full-cycle development of web and eCommerce applications using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. • Define solution architecture and translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Oversee development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of custom web applications and CMS platforms (WordPress/Drupal). • Manage and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services. • Mentor junior developers, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality through reviews and documentation. • Lead data modeling, performance monitoring, and system maintenance. • Ensure ADA, PCI, SEO, and security compliance. • Evaluate new technologies and support infrastructure upgrades. Required Skills & Experience: • 10–15 years of relevant experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • Expertise in WordPress/Drupal, PHP, WooCommerce, and modern JavaScript frameworks (MEAN/MERN stack). • Strong background in cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), Linux system administration, and CI/CD pipelines. • Experience with REST APIs, authentication (LDAP, SSO), and application security best practices. • Excellent communication, documentation, and project leadership skills.
