What You’ll Do
As a Lead Front End Engineer, you’ll lead a team of iCrossing software developers building consumer-facing websites on an enterprise content management system (CMS). You’ll be successful by leveraging your leadership skills and technical front end development expertise to build these websites on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS, all running on Amazon Web Services. You will lead the technical implementation of the experience design, and will work closely with your clients, their design agency, and other IT partners involved.
Additionally, you will:
Lead ongoing development and code reviews, guiding the team on best practices.
Manage your team and ensure timely completion of coding assignments. Ensure quality of deliverables and system level documentation.
Report to and collaborate with a Director of Technical Architecture for solution design.
Work with Technical Managers to assign work, estimate project specific work, and ensure the timeliness/quality of deliverables and make sure all appropriate parties are informed of tech team status and issues.
Be the technical lead and participate in all Scrum processes, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, and Sprint Retrospectives.
Develop front end code for highly visible marketing and eCommerce Websites.
Who you are:
6+ years of experience building websites.
Expert understanding of HTML5, CSS (SASS/Less) and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.
Worked with modern web development practices including implementing responsive design and mobile first layouts.
Skilled at setting your local development environment tooling and deploying code to a remote server environment, ideally using AWS.
Skilled at troubleshooting issues with code and environments, helping your team members resolve roadblocks.
About Our Technology Team
We’re engineers and solutions integrators experienced at all levels of the application life cycle. No matter our individual role, every team member has two essential responsibilities: build technologies that power digital transformations and make the impossible, possible.
With a clear focus on creating engaging, rich, and dynamic customer experiences, together we create world-class data-driven solutions for Omni-channel digital marketing initiatives. Keeping up with the proliferation of devices, operating systems and APIs takes some serious technical talent – and our team has lots of it!
We are better together. Each one of us has a role in making iCrossing an energizing and inspiring place to work.
Benefits
iCrossing offers a range of employee benefits including generous PTO, 11 paid holidays, 401k + company match, full medical/dental/vision coverage, FSA & HSA options, family leave, commuter benefits, and more.
