Job Description:
As the Group Head of Global Accounts & Industry Partnerships, you will define and execute Network International’s global strategy for account management and strategic partnerships, directly aligning with the organization’s growth objectives. You will lead our global merchant strategy and drive revenue across key verticals—including retail, hospitality, e-commerce, travel, and airlines—delivering profitable growth for our acquiring business. This executive role carries full P&L ownership for our top-tier global clients and is instrumental in shaping and executing a vertical- and partnership-led growth strategy across MEA.
You will serve as the executive sponsor for our most significant global accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and growth. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Technology, you will develop industry-specific solutions, foster innovation in partnership models, and drive ecosystem alliances that position Network International as the fintech partner of choice for enterprise merchants.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Growth & Vertical Leadership
• Define and execute a multi-year global strategy for account management and strategic partnerships, ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives.
• Develop and implement industry vertical growth strategies focused on high-value segments such as retail, hospitality, e-commerce, travel, and airlines.
• Define go-to-market strategies for each vertical, identifying priority accounts, tailored solutions, and partnerships that drive adoption and revenue.
• Build and expand a robust global accounts portfolio, deepening client relationships through value-led engagement and innovation delivery.
1. Global Accounts & Strategic Partnerships
• Serve as the executive sponsor for top-tier global accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
• Lead strategic account planning, relationship management, and expansion initiatives across global and regional merchants.
• Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that support business expansion and innovation.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of partnerships, from due diligence and contracting to integration and performance evaluation.
• Foster co-marketing, co-innovation, and joint go-to-market strategies with strategic partners.
• Forge ecosystem partnerships (PSPs, gateways, fintech, enablers) to unlock new customer segments and use cases.
1. P&L and Commercial Ownership
• Lead the full P&L for global accounts and industry verticals, ensuring sustained revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage financial planning, forecasting, and delivery of growth targets aligned with business objectives and MIP commitments.
• Develop pricing strategies and commercial models to support scale and competitive advantage in key verticals.
1. Proposition Development & Value Creation
• Drive innovation in partnership models and value creation initiatives for clients and partners.
• Partner with Product and Digital teams to co-create and evolve tailored omni-channel and digital payment solutions for each vertical.
• Collaborate with product teams on roadmaps informed by customer feedback, industry trends, and evolving regulatory needs.
1. Cross-functional Leadership & Execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Legal, Risk, Customer Operations) to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional client experiences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or an MBA
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in the payments industry or similar aspects of financial services, UAE experience highly desirable
• Held leadership position for a minimum of 5 years.
• Relevant product and industry knowledge
• Excellent English language skills, Arabic highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and team working skills
• Strong conceptual, planning and directing skills
