Role description
The role in one line Own and deliver growth plans across a small portfolio of clients from customer research and commercial strategy to execution, optimisation and reporting. ----------- Location: Remote UK with regular client meetings and occasional team meetups in Europe and UK Salary: £38,000–£45,000 DOE plus discretionary bonus and commission on new business Contract: Full time Reports to: Founder, Growth Lead About us Unbiased is a small, senior collective of fractional marketers who plug into ambitious DTC and SME brands and fix messy marketing so leaders can scale with confidence. We are not a big agency with layers of process. Instead we send senior people into the room, own outcomes and move fast. Our work ranges from short, high-impact sprints to longer retained partnerships where we run performance, marketing, CRO and lifecycle programs end to end. We love practical creativity. That means insight-led strategies that map directly to revenue, simple reporting that a busy founder will actually read, and creative that respects the brand while getting commercial results. Our clients include direct to consumer brands and category challengers across food, home, health and apparel. They pick us because we combine senior thinking with hands-on execution and true commercial accountability. Working here means variety, responsibility and steep learning. You will be exposed to multiple business models and problems every month, own decision making, and be trusted to iterate quickly. We value honesty, curiosity and a bias to shipping work that moves the needle. We are focused on building long term client partnerships, growing a reputation for measurable outcomes and creating a supportive place for senior marketers to do their best work without needless bureaucracy. About you We are looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help us turn great ideas into action. You’ll own the relationship and management of a small portfolio of SMEs and startups, driving their growth, creating their marketing strategy and leading the accounts. You’ll work closely with our Growth Executives and freelancers to deliver on your plans, supported by our Growth Lead and Fractional CMOs. Whilst a strong grasp of data and analytics is essential, our Performance & Data team is hand, and working closely with them, managing your client team is a core part of the role. What success looks like after 6 months • Clear, commercial growth plans that tie to revenue and margin for each client. • Happy, growing clients, with a pipeline of projects aligned to their goals • Clean tracking and predictable reporting with no surprises. • Confident, trusting clients who renew and recommend us. • Great storytelling and planning, based on strong data Must haves • 3 to 5 plus years in growth, performance or senior agency roles with demonstrable commercial outcomes. • Practical ecommerce or D2C experience; hands-on Shopify familiarity is a big plus. • Strong CRM and email marketing experience; you can design and optimise customer lifetime value programs. • Comfortable with data, reporting and using metrics to drive decisions. • Clear, confident client-facing communication and the ability to influence senior stakeholders. • Scrappy, organised and hands-on. You will often be the person who moves things from plan to execution. Nice to haves • Experience with attribution tools, CDPs or server-side tracking. • Paid media experience on platforms like TikTok, YouTube or programmatic channels • Basic HTML or Liquid for quick Shopify fixes. • Background in food, fashion, health or home categories Package and perks • Salary band £38,000–£45,000 DOE plus discretionary annual bonus and commission on new business. • Training and personal development fund, remote working allowance and a tech budget. • 30 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off. • Flexible working, occasional team meetups in the UK or Europe and occasional in-person client workshops.
