Role description
Create has the privilege to be teamed with the world’s leading multinational music corporation in fact the biggest music company in the world. They value e-Commerce as a foundational channel to connect artists and fans. This role is pivotal in helping to shape and deliver our eCommerce growth strategy across creative services and merchandise development and production. The role will lead and develop there Direct To Fan Creative services team spanning creative, product development and production. This team is central to our ambition to scale the delivery of incredible apparel and merchandise products for our artists and labels. Role: Head of Creative Services (Direct to Fan) Overview: Lead a cross-functional team focused on delivering top-tier artist merchandise and eCommerce experiences. You’ll drive creative strategy, manage the in-house Creative Studio, and work closely with label partners to create innovative, high-quality products that reflect each artist’s unique brand. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Lead a team of ~10, promoting a high-performance, client-first culture. β€’ Oversee creative design for merchandise, primarily apparel, across labels. β€’ Manage eCommerce Product Managers to deliver engaging, on-brand experiences. β€’ Run the Creative Studio operations: resourcing, budgets, and timelines. β€’ Collaborate with label teams to bring artist visions to life through merch and content. β€’ Present creative strategies to senior stakeholders and artist teams. β€’ Plan and oversee all design projects, ensuring timely, high-quality output. β€’ Keep up with fashion/streetwear trends and translate them into product ideas. β€’ Partner with Production teams to align design and manufacturing capabilities. β€’ Monitor studio performance and report to senior eCommerce leadership. Qualifications: β€’ Degree in Fashion, Creative Design, or related field. β€’ 10+ years of experience in fashion or music merchandising. β€’ Strong knowledge of eCommerce retail, merchandising, and product visuals. β€’ 5+ years managing cross-functional creative teams. β€’ Experience in apparel and merchandise design, especially for artists. β€’ Skilled in budgeting, planning, and delivering creative projects. β€’ Solid understanding of UK fashion and online consumer trends. β€’ Hands-on knowledge of garment production methods and materials. β€’ Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and project tools. β€’ Passionate about music, fashion, and fan-first product strategy. THIS IS A FULLTIME POSITION YOU WILL BE EXPECTED IN THE OFFICE 4 DAYS A WEEK
