Role description
Consumer Additions are pleased to be partnered with a super high-growth luxury fashion brand who are looking for a Head of E-Commerce. This is a newly created role within the team and one that will lead all E-Commerce & Digital strategy as well as a team. The role is based in London and will be based in the office 4 days per week. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop and execute the digital user experience strategy, ensuring the website is optimised across all stages of the customer journey β€” from discovery and consideration through to conversion and retention. β€’ Oversee day-to-day trading activities and digital performance KPIs. Use analytics, customer feedback, and testing to inform decision-making and optimise results. β€’ Lead the web development roadmap and budget in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external developers. Ensure continual improvements in site functionality, usability, and satisfaction. β€’ Champion an integrated customer experience across physical and digital channels to create a seamless brand journey. β€’ Build, manage, and develop a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering collaboration, ownership, and a data-informed mindset. β€’ Work closely with technology, creative, marketing, customer service, retail, and product teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all channels. β€’ Define and deliver the long-term e-commerce strategy aligned to overall business goals, identifying areas of growth and innovation. β€’ Stay informed on e-commerce trends, customer behaviour, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the online offering and experience. Key Requirements β€’ Proven experience in a senior e-commerce role, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing business. β€’ Deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and their impact on commercial performance (e.g., conversion, AOV, retention). β€’ Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, website architecture, analytics, and performance marketing. β€’ Ability to translate business goals into clear e-commerce initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes. β€’ Experience managing e-commerce development projects and working with 3rd party agencies or internal tech teams. β€’ Strong leadership and team development skills. β€’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; data-driven with commercial acumen. β€’ Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
