Role description
Join an innovative, fast-growing beauty brand in the dynamic world of skincare, where ecommerce is at the heart of global expansion. We’re on the hunt for an experienced and commercially savvy Head of Ecommerce to lead and shape the future of our client’s DTC strategy.
The Role
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to own and drive the end-to-end ecommerce strategy across the UK and international markets. With full P&L responsibility, you’ll be accountable for performance across our digital storefronts, developing both short- and long-term growth plans that increase traffic, conversion, AOV and lifetime value.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing to align digital growth with brand positioning, while leading and developing a passionate ecommerce team. Your mission is to create an exceptional online experience that defines a long-term customer journey and delivers profitable results.
Key responsibilities
• Full ownership of DTC ecommerce P&L, budget setting, forecasting and delivery
• Drive performance across all ecommerce KPIs: traffic, conversion, AOV, returns, and profitability
• Lead the planning and execution of the global trade and promotional calendar
• Optimise UX and site functionality in partnership with our web development and SAP agencies
• Develop our CRM, customer segmentation, and email marketing strategy
• Oversee SEO, copywriting, and on-site content performance
• Ensure an exceptional end-to-end customer experience, from browsing to delivery
• Manage third-party agency and partner relationships, including logistics and affiliates
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align ecommerce with brand, marketing, supply chain, and NPD
• Contribute to overall business strategy with insights from digital performance
• Uphold data privacy, site compliance, and security standards including GDPR and PCI
Could this be your perfect role?
We’re looking for an energetic, data-driven leader with a deep understanding of ecommerce and digital trading. You’ll need a strong track record of delivering results in a DTC environment, ideally within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth settings and are hands-on, strategic, and always looking for the next opportunity to innovate.
You will:
• Bring previous experience of ecommerce leadership, preferably within DTC
• Have proven success owning ecommerce P&Ls and driving commercial performance
• Know how to interpret data and use it to make impactful decisions
• Understand the nuances of different global markets and how to localise effectively
• Lead with warmth, confidence, and collaboration, inspiring those around you
• Have experience with web platforms, CRM tools, and digital analytics
• Are passionate about building customer-centric journeys and driving brand loyalty
