Role Overview
We are seeking a highly connected and strategic Head of Affiliate & Publisher Growth to lead and scale our affiliate marketing channel. You will own all relationships and performance across affiliate and publisher partners, with a mandate to drive lead volume, quality, and ROI—without needing to build a large team.
This is a high-impact, senior-level role for someone with deep experience in affiliate marketing, strong ties across the performance and lead generation ecosystem, and the ability to operate with autonomy in a high-growth startup.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Leadership & Strategy
• Own and grow the affiliate marketing function end-to-end—from strategy and operations to performance and compliance.
• Develop scalable partner structures and performance frameworks that drive high-quality leads at efficient acquisition costs.
• Create short- and long-term roadmaps to expand the reach and profitability of affiliate and publisher channels.
Partner Recruitment & Relationship Management
• Leverage your network to identify and onboard top-tier affiliates, media buyers, and publishers.
• Cultivate deep relationships with key partners through regular check-ins, custom incentives, and performance alignment.
• Structure competitive payouts, negotiate terms, and ensure win-win outcomes across the board.
Performance Optimization & Reporting
• Monitor partner and campaign performance in real-time, using data to optimize for quality, volume, and profitability.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs such as CPL, lead conversion rates, ROAS, and partner-level metrics.
• Iterate quickly based on performance data to refine targeting, creatives, and promotional strategies.
Operational Excellence
• Use affiliate tracking platforms and attribution tools (e.g., HasOffers, Tune, Impact) to ensure performance visibility and accuracy.
• Implement processes to manage contracts, compliance, creative approvals, and offer updates with minimal overhead.
• Collaborate with internal teams (growth, product, tech, and sales) to ensure alignment and surface partner feedback.
What We’re Looking For
• 5–10+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, lead generation, or performance partnerships.
• Strong industry relationships with affiliate networks, lead buyers, media arbitrage partners, and publishers.
• Demonstrated success scaling a high-performing affiliate program without relying on a large team.
• Deep understanding of conversion metrics, attribution modeling, and performance tracking tools.
• Ability to operate autonomously and move fast in a lean startup environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and partner development skills.
Bonus Skills
• Experience in real estate, insurance, home services, or similar lead-gen driven verticals.
• Hands-on knowledge of affiliate tracking tools (HasOffers, CAKE, Tune, etc.) and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker, etc.).
• Understanding of paid traffic, CRO, and funnel optimization for lead gen.
• Prior work at a top-tier affiliate network or performance marketing agency.
