Role description
Location: Remote
Reports to: CEO
Compensation: Equity-based with commission, as we scale toward revenue. This is an opportunity to make your mark as an early foundational team member with long-term upside.
As our Head of Growth, youβll own our entire customer journey from awareness to acquisition, retention, and revenue. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can not only develop growth plans but also execute and adapt them based on results.
Youβll collaborate directly with the founder on everything from customer acquisition and funnel strategy to branding, influencer marketing, pricing, and fundraising narratives.
Requirements
β’ Proven experience scaling customer acquisition and revenue at an early-stage startup
β’ Strong grasp of growth marketing, sales strategy, funnel design, and data analysis
β’ Comfortable leading customer research and market validation efforts
β’ Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Mixpanel, GA4, Typeform, etc.
β’ Comfort working autonomously and taking initiative in a dynamic environment
β’ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
Strategy & Funnel Ownership
β’ Own the full funnel: Awareness β Activation β Retention β Referral
β’ Design, manage, and optimize our customer acquisition, sales pipeline, and sales flow
β’ Build and test pricing models and monetization strategies
β’ Conduct deep analysis and pivot strategies based on metrics like CAC, LTV, MRR, activation, churn, and product usage
β’ Lead the collection of customer data through market research surveys, ICP interviews, polls, Google Analytics, and other research tools to validate assumptions and improve messaging
Marketing & Brand Execution
β’ Create and manage data-driven marketing plans and campaigns
β’ Drive SEO, paid ads, A/B testing, and growth experiments
β’ Develop and execute referral programs, onboarding flows, and product-led growth strategies
β’ Lead social media strategy and management
β’ Build influencer marketing initiatives and collaborate with key opinion leaders
β’ Work closely with the founder on brand image, messaging, and communications strategy
Sales & Revenue Support
β’ Develop and structure our early sales flow
β’ Coach and support the founder on sales strategy, messaging, and objection handling
β’ Be a sounding board and partner for revenue experiments and customer conversations
Leadership & Collaboration
β’ Work as a partner to the CEO β bringing thought leadership, tactical recommendations, and high-level growth vision
β’ Be a self-starter who can ideate and execute without needing constant direction
β’ Contribute to fundraising strategy, investor narratives, and pitch deck refinement
