Role description
We are an early-stage startup in the sports and lifestyle space, building a social commerce platform focused on a highly engaged vertical.
We are seeking a Fractional Head of Marketing to lead the development and execution of our go-to-market strategy. This includes branding, digital marketing, content creation, and community engagement.
This is a hands-on role for someone excited to build a brand from the ground up. You will be responsible for both strategy and execution, working closely with the founder and product team to shape our presence and drive early user growth.
Responsibilities
β’ Define and lead an integrated marketing strategy aligned with product launch milestones
β’ Develop and manage content calendars across key social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
β’ Establish and evolve brand voice, messaging, and identity
β’ Oversee day-to-day marketing workflows, including email marketing, newsletters, website content, and campaign execution
β’ Collaborate with product and design teams to align messaging with user experience
β’ Create compelling content for investor outreach, partner communication, and user acquisition
β’ Track and report on marketing KPIs and growth metrics
β’ Manage relationships with contractors, influencers, or marketing service providers as needed
Qualifications
β’ Minimum 5 years of marketing or growth experience, ideally in a startup or early-stage environment
β’ Proven success with social media strategy, digital campaigns, and content-driven growth
β’ Proficient in basic marketing tools and platforms, CRM, including email platforms, CMS systems, and analytics
β’ Strong writing and editing skills across marketing formats
β’ Ability to work independently, build processes, and manage multiple priorities
β’ Interest or background in sports, lifestyle brands, or community-based platforms is a plus
